Duration: 3 to 3.5 hours. Distance: 8-10 miles. Ages 13 and up.
We created this tour to showcase our wonderful city in about 3 to 3.5 hours. It has a bit of everything: Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, funky street art in the Mission, Victorian architecture, and a historic “wiggle” route used by the city’s founding missionaries. Most importantly, this tour can be done by almost anyone. We really do avoid the hills. This city changes everyday, so depending on the sunshine and your interests, we may visit some other hidden spots as well.
Who this tour is for:
- You appreciate famous parks, street art, and local gems.
- You’d love to visit the Mission, but don’t know how to get there by bicycle.
- You can ride a bike 10 miles (16 km) at a mellow pace and ascend a few gentle hills (we navigate around the big ones). And don’t worry – we make frequent stops, so your legs get plenty of rest.
Our easiest tour. Casual pace, shorter distance, less elevation gain. However, you are still riding a bike and going up some minor hills.
This tour has a 2-person minimum.
We take safety very seriously. Our tours take you on San Francisco’s safest bike lanes, bike routes, and quiet streets. We provide safety instructions before each tour. Helmets (provided) are mandatory.
